How Dore can help dyspraxic symptoms
Many people find being labelled “dyspraxia” very unhelpful. With the Dore Program, we are able to help these symptoms and remove the need for any labels.
Our research shows that a wide range of problems, from poor balance and coordination are linked to the development of a part of the brain called the cerebellum, the skill learning centre of the brain. Poor development or early damage to the cerebellum is shown to hinder the development of the skills needed for reading, writing and coordination and is not a reflection in intelligence.
Our Program consists of highly personalised, easy to follow exercises that stimulate and develop the cerebellum. This improves the previously poor cognitive and motor skills. Making the cerebellum function better helps remedy the symptoms of learning difficulties like dyspraxia – and has produced striking and lasting results where, often, nothing else has helped.
