Reading Abilities
Poor reading abilities affect around 85% of people with learning difficulties. An underdeveloped cerebellum can cause difficulties in controlling eye movements, which makes reading very challenging because it is hard to process the individual words and string meanings together to understand the sentence. This also makes reading tiring as it causes overload in the brain’s capacity, consequently those affected have little interest in reading.
The Dore Program directly addresses the problems associated with reading abilities through an exercised-based remedy to develop the cerebellum. This gives people the ability to control their eye movements and process what they are reading at a faster rate making reading easier and much more enjoyable.
